We have just engaged the very talented Amy Caplan to supply us with delicious hand-crafted natural vegetarian soups. Healthy, easy and delicious these soups are the beginning of our expansion into the dinner options we intend to provide for our neighbors in the canyon. We can pair them with cheeses, crackers, and sausages for a complete meal.

Soon we’ll have some fresh veggies and herbs to augment the soups, as well as fresh bread.

Healthy and hearty nourishment for both the heart and the soul it’s what we do here at CG.

A big week for a little place.

The store as it looked when I opened it yesterday.
Loving the social aspect of CG, engaging people, neighbors, lots of them are thankful to have the place alive and well here in our little canyon.
Channeling my stepfather Henry, whose haberdashery in Hartford Ct. provided my only other retail experience…

BTW. Gourmet Soups arrive tomorrow!

The Health Department just left here and gave us what she said was a “very rare” grade. 100%!!! Oh Yeah….Not a single correction.  We’ve got our “A” Grade posted proudly on the window.

Fresh pasta came in this morning. Our supplier of British fare later today.

Salted caramels….Yum. Lots more coming in.

While the shelves are not yet totally jammed, (some suppliers have yet to make their way up the windy Blvd. ) we are open and looking forward to seeing you. Thanks for your patience. ♥♥♥

Any minute

We have stock on the shelves and in the fridges. We have big ideas in our heads, and support from extraordinary people who know what good food is all about.

Getting the last sign-offs from the city and we are a GO.
